LuckyPotluck.com has been a joy of mine over the past 5 years. Providing a way for people to organize parties, holiday dinners, school sign-up sheets, etc for free has been very fulfilling to me, as well as a tremendous learning experience. I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve all of you in this way.

However, this appeal has nothing to do with potlucks, or for any other personal gain. This site has provided a way for my family to help other people in need, and we would like it to continue to be a vehicle to do so. Currently, every penny that LuckyPotluck.com provides from advertising is given to others or used to serve others. It's not a lot, but it has been a true blessing to be able to simply give freely to other people.

Now, for the appeal... My wife, Laura, will be traveling to the Ukraine this summer to visit orphans there. Her trip will be for 9 days and will consist of spending all of her time loving them through playing, singing, holding, and working (scraping, painting walls, etc). Laura will be going with a group called Visiting Orphans. We are asking that you consider donating anything that you can to help Laura get to the Ukraine and love on those orphans.
