i got a 2nd hand hp compaq nx9010 lpaotp with the bios password protected aghh, having spent days on the net looking for solutions to my problem ranging from butchering my machine to spending time on phone to hp i found your blog on reveng(neat aint it)bios hashing codes.i downloaded the appropriate prog for my machine entered the hash code and within 2 minutes was into the bios and removed the password.you have to press f12 when password screen comes up to get hash code on my machine.what can i say except a bl**dy huge thanks
